To work in partnership with another person or group in order to achieve a common goal by uniting skills, ideas, experience and resources. To identify and bring individuals together that will benefit and flourish through engaging and learning from one another.
It has always been my long held belief and something I have acted on all my working life, that working with, and not against is the most intelligent and successful way to work within a professional environment.
Even if an organisation or an individual is your fiercest competitor, it is always worth finding common ground, always worth combining forces to create positive mutual benefit.
For anyone who has worked at sea, they will know the difference that a happy well structured and mutually supportive team can make to a great working environment and the impact that a negative, fractured and poorly managed team can have on the mental health and personal motivation of those having to endure it.
My strong conviction to operate positively is carried through to my working ethos, I am really fortunate to have a good level of vision, allowing me to see opportunities, and potential. I thrive on connecting people and organisations with ideas and solutions, building and developing successful relationships with them, that lead to long and successful partnerships.

Time spent supporting others and joining forces to achieve common goals, is invariably the better way, and many of the issues that the industry faces today will be solved much more effectively by the leaders of the sector by taking an open and collaborative approach across the board. Sharing skills and resources, to work towards developing a strategy to take the superyacht industry forward into the next phase of its evolution.
Through the activities of The OM I will be collaborating with a broad range of superyacht and maritime focused organisations, to develop projects and initiatives and promote awareness of our aims.
